HoheAcht Mola Aventuro Kastanie

The “Mola Aventuro Kastanie” model from HoheAcht, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and robust construction. Priced at 6,199 EUR, it belongs to the premium segment of electric bikes. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and features full SUV suspension, ensuring a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces.

For braking performance, the Mola Aventuro Kastanie is fitted with Magura MT Trail Sport brakes, featuring a 4-piston system at the front and a 2-piston system at the rear. Gear changes are handled by a Rohloff 14-speed hub, which, in combination with the Rohloff Speedhub twist shifter, ensures precise and reliable gear changes.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Supernova V521S at the front, which delivers 235 lumens, whilst at the rear a Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike light with a BR-12 reflector ensures visibility. The bike is fitted with Marwi SP-2160 pedals, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano Steps FC-EM600 with a length of 170 mm, combined with a Shimano Steps EP8 motor with 34 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e1 EPT chain.

The handlebars are an H8 aluminium model, 720 mm wide and 31.8 mm in diameter, complemented by Brooks Slender grips. The stem is also made of H8 aluminium and is 60 mm long with an angle of ± 7°. The headset features industrial-grade bearings from Acros.

The bike’s rims are Mach1 Trucky 30 in 27.5” size, combined with Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres in size 57-584 with reflective strips. The front hub is a Formula Disc with a diameter of 15x110 mm and the rear hub is a Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 with a diameter of 15x148 mm; both have 32 spokes and disc brake mounts.

The saddle is a Brooks B17 model made from genuine leather, mounted on an H8 aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. SKS A 69 R mudguards in black provide protection against splashing water. An Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand ensures stability when parking the bike, whilst the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg.

The e-bike’s drive is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, fuelled by a 500 Wh battery that provides sufficient energy for long rides. This model combines quality, comfort and functionality in an attractive design, ideal for discerning cyclists.
