HoheAcht GRANDAMO URBENO

The GRANDAMO URBENO model from HoheAcht, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike which, at a price of 4999 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is made of robust aluminium, which contributes to a maximum load capacity of 170 kg.

The braking system is fitted with Shimano four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also by Shimano and are made of lightweight metal with a two-finger operation. The brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and are secured via Centre Lock.

The gear system is based on Shimano Steps technology, featuring a Nexus SG-C7050 Di2 5-speed hub gear with a freewheel. The gear lever is the Shimano Steps SW-EN600-R, which enables precise gear selection.

The SR Suntour XCR32-Boost-AIR suspension fork offers 100 mm of travel and ensures comfort on uneven roads. For lighting, the e-bike is fitted with a Lezyne E-Bike Power StVZO E115 front light and a Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, both of which feature LED technology.

The drivetrain consists of a Gates belt drive with a 39T CDX chainring and a 28-tooth pulley. The belt is a blue Gates 122T CDX. The motor, a Shimano Steps DU-EP801 mid-drive motor, delivers up to 85 Nm and provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged using a Shimano Steps charger.

The handlebars and stem are by Kalloy – HoheAcht and are made of aluminium. The handlebars are 660 mm wide and have a 37° bend, whilst the stem offers a variable angle of 0–60°.

The e-bike rides on 27.5-inch Mach1 Trucky 30 rims fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto tyres, which are renowned for their durability and good grip. The hubs feature industrial-grade bearings and ensure a smooth ride.

The Selle Royal Nuvola saddle, together with the Limotec B3 dropper seatpost, ensures comfort. The e-bike also features aluminium mudguards, a sturdy Ursus kickstand and an AtranVelo luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 27 kg.

Safety features such as the ABUS locking system round off the specifications of the GRANDAMO URBENO, which proves to be a reliable companion in urban environments.
