HoheAcht GRANDAMO TERRA

The “GRANDAMO TERRA” model from HoheAcht, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust features and modern technology. Priced at 4,199 EUR, it offers a combination of comfort, performance and safety.

The GRANDAMO TERRA’s frame is made from robust aluminium, making the bike both durable and lightweight. The maximum load capacity is 170 kg, providing ample space for the rider and additional luggage. The braking system comprises Shimano four-piston brakes (VR BR-MT420 and HR BR-MT420) with hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT401 brake levers, ensure reliable control and safety. The front brake discs are 180 mm Shimano models (SM-RT64 and RT-EM600), guaranteeing powerful braking performance.

The bike’s gear system is based on a Shimano Deore 12-speed derailleur (RD-M6100), which, in conjunction with the Shimano Deore SL-M6100-R shifter, enables precise and easy gear selection. The SR Suntour XCM32 suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing bumps on the road or off-road.

The GRANDAMO TERRA’s lighting is provided by Herrmans components. The H-Black MR8 front light delivers 180 lumens, whilst the H-Cargo rear light, with 4 LEDs and a parking light function, ensures visibility. Both lights are specifically designed for e-bikes.

The drive is powered by the Shimano Steps DU-EP600 mid-drive motor with a torque of 85 Nm, enabling speeds of up to 25 km/h. The integrated Shimano Steps BT-EN806 battery, with a capacity of 630 Wh, ensures a long range. The accompanying Shimano Steps SC-EN600 display offers Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity to control and monitor various functions of the e-bike.

Further features include a Shimano Steps drivetrain with a 36-tooth chainring, a SRAM Eagle cassette with a 12-speed 11–50-tooth range, and Kalloy ‘HoheAcht’ handlebars and stem. The Mach1 Trucky 30 rims are fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, which ensure stability and comfort. The Selle Royal Nuvola saddle offers additional comfort on longer rides.

The bike is also fitted with practical features such as an AtranVelo luggage rack, ChingChern mudguards and an Ursus kickstand. An ABUS lock ensures security, whilst the integrated luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg.
