HoheAcht Amo Vilago Perlwein

The “Amo Vilago Perlwein” model from the “HoheAcht” brand, launched in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and the use of modern technology. The aluminium Wave frame ensures a sturdy yet lightweight construction, enabling a comfortable riding experience. Priced at 3,499 euros, the bike is positioned in the mid-range price segment and offers a wide range of high-quality components.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 2-piston brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable deceleration in a variety of conditions. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Nexus 5-speed system, which, in combination with the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 shifter, enables precise and easy gear selection. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light with 180 lumens and the Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike rear light with a BR-12 reflector, ensuring good visibility and safety on the road.

The crankset consists of the Shimano Steps FC-EM600, which is 170 mm long and features a 38-tooth chainring, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC Z1eHX chain. The handlebars are an H8 aluminium model, 640 mm wide and 31.8 mm in diameter, complemented by Herrmans Line DD36 grips. The stem is also made of aluminium, is 90 mm long and adjustable by 60°, allowing for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The bike’s rims are Mach1 Trucky 30, measuring 27.5 inches, fitted with Continental Contact Cruiser tyres in size 60-584, which ensure good road holding. The front hub is a Formula Disc measuring 15x100 mm, whilst the rear features a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000 hub with 5 speeds. The Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC saddle, together with the H8 aluminium seatpost, ensures comfort on longer rides.

Additional features such as the black SKS A 69 R mudguards, the Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand and the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack, with a load capacity of up to 27 kg, round off the overall package. Power is provided by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, powered by a battery with a capacity of 630 Wh, offering the rider an extended range with pedal assistance for long tours.
