HoheAcht Amo Vilago Bernstein

The “Amo Vilago Bernstein” model from the “HoheAcht” brand, released in 2021, is an e-bike that, at a price of 3,499 EUR, falls within the mid-range price segment. The frame is an aluminium wave frame, which ensures a robust yet lightweight construction. The braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT200 2-piston brakes at the front and rear, providing reliable stopping power. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 5-speed, which, in combination with the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 gear lever, enables precise gear changes.

Front lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light, with an output of 180 lumens and a voltage range of 6–12 V. At the rear, the e-bike is fitted with the Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike rear light, which also features a BR-12 reflector. The Marwi SP-828 pedals have a non-slip coating and provide a secure grip. The crankset consists of the Shimano Steps FC-EM600, which is 170 mm long, and is combined with a 38-tooth chainring from the Shimano Steps EP8 motor. The rear sprocket is a Shimano Nexus CS-C7000 with 27 teeth, and power is transmitted via a KMC Z1eHX chain.

The handlebars are an H8 aluminium model, 640 mm wide with a diameter of 31.8 mm, fitted with Herrmans Line DD36 grips. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium, measures 90 mm and is adjustable by 60°, allowing for individual adjustment to the rider’s preferred riding position. The headset features industrial-grade bearings from Acros.

The rims are Mach1 Trucky 30, 27.5” in size, fitted with Continental Contact Cruiser tyres (60-584) including reflective strips for improved visibility. The front hub is a Formula Disc with 15x100 mm and 32 holes, as well as Centre Lock; the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000, 5-speed hub.

The saddle is the Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC model, mounted on an H8 aluminium seatpost measuring 31.6 mm x 350 mm. SKS A 69 R mudguards in black provide protection against splashing water. The kickstand is an Atran Velo Rex HV, 40 mm wide. The Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg.

The bike is powered by a Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, supported by a battery with a capacity of 630 Wh, which provides sufficient power for longer rides. This e-bike offers well-thought-out features for everyday use and impresses with its high-quality components and well-designed build.
