HoheAcht Amo Urbo Vulkanschiefer

The “Amo Urbo Vulkanschiefer” model from the HoheAcht brand, launched in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike priced at 3,899 EUR, placing it in the upper mid-range. The aluminium Wave frame forms the basis of the bike and ensures a balanced combination of stability and lightness. The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 2-piston brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 shifter, enabling simple and precise gear selection.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light, which provides good visibility with 180 lumens. The rear light is a Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike model with an integrated reflector. Marwi SP-828 anti-slip pedals provide a secure grip, whilst the Shimano Steps FC-EM600 crankset and the Gates CDX drive with 122 teeth ensure efficient power transfer. The H8 aluminium handlebars are 640 mm wide and, together with the Herrmans Line DD36 grips, offer comfortable handling. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium and is adjustable by 60°, allowing for individual customisation.

An Acros industrial-grade headset ensures long-lasting steering precision. The 27.5” Mach1 Trucky 30 rims are fitted with Continental Contact Cruiser tyres, which provide good grip and comfort. The front hub is a Formula Disc (15x100 mm) and the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000 5-speed hub. The Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC saddle and the H8 aluminium seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm, contribute to riding comfort.

In addition, the bike is fitted with SKS A 69 R mudguards in black, which protect against splashes. The Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand provides stability when parked, whilst the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack allows for a payload of up to 27 kg. The e-bike is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, fuelled by a 630 Wh battery that ensures an extended range. This model combines modern technology with a well-thought-out design, offering an all-round excellent riding experience.
