HoheAcht Amo Urbo Perlwein

The “Amo Urbo Perlwein” model from the HoheAcht brand, launched in 2021, is a stylish and high-performance e-bike designed for urban use. Priced at 3799 EUR, it offers a combination of advanced technology and well-thought-out design. The frame is made from an aluminium Wave frame, which provides both stability and easy access.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 2-piston brakes at the front and rear, which guarantee reliable deceleration. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Nexus 5-speed system, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 shifter, which allows for easy and precise gear selection.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light, which delivers 180 lumens at a voltage of 6–12 V, as well as a Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike rear light with a BR-12 reflector, which ensures good visibility in traffic. The Marwi SP-828 anti-slip pedals provide a secure grip and contribute to safety whilst riding.

Power is transmitted via a high-quality Gates CDX system with a 28-tooth sprocket and a 122-tooth belt, ensuring quiet and low-maintenance operation. The crankset is a Shimano Steps FC-EM600 with a length of 170 mm. The handlebars are made from H8 aluminium, have a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 640 mm, whilst the stem is also made from H8 aluminium and is adjustable by 60°.

The bike is fitted with Mach1 Trucky 30 rims in size 27.5” and Continental Contact Cruiser tyres (60-584) with reflective strips, which ensure a comfortable ride. The front hub is a Formula Disc (15x100 mm) and the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000 5-speed hub.

The Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC saddle offers comfort on longer rides and is complemented by an H8 aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. SKS A 69 R mudguards in black protect against splashes, whilst the Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand ensures the bike stands securely.

For carrying luggage, the bike is fitted with an Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack, which can carry up to 27 kg. The drive is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with 85 Nm of torque, which, together with a 500 Wh battery, delivers an impressive range. Overall, the Amo Urbo Perlwein offers a balanced blend of functionality and comfort for the urban cyclist.
