HoheAcht Amo Terra Vulkanschiefer

The “Amo Terra Vulkanschiefer” model from HoheAcht, launched in 2021, is a modern e-bike that stands out for its high-quality specifications and attractive design. The price for this model is 3,499 EUR. The aluminium Wave frame provides a sturdy yet lightweight base which, combined with the other components, ensures a comfortable riding experience.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Deore 10-speed gear system, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shift lever. This combination ensures precise and reliable gear changes. The brakes consist of a Shimano SM-RT30 at the front and a Shimano RT-EM300 at the rear, both with a diameter of 180 mm and fitted with Centre Lock as well as an integrated speed sensor, ensuring safe and effective braking performance.

Lighting is provided by a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light with 180 lumens and a Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike rear light with a BR-12 reflector. These ensure good visibility and safety on the road. The pedals are Marwi SP-828 models and feature a non-slip surface that ensures a secure grip.

The Shimano Steps FC-EM600 crankset, measuring 170 mm in length and featuring a 38-tooth chainring, is complemented by the Shimano Deore CS-M4100 cassette with 11–42 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10 EPT chain, which is renowned for its durability. The handlebars are made from H8 aluminium, measure 31.8 mm in diameter and 640 mm in width, whilst the grips are Herrmans Line DD36. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium, measures 90 mm and is adjustable by 60°, allowing for individual customisation.

The rims are Mach1 Trucky 30 in 27.5-inch size, and the tyres are Continental Contact Cruiser, sized 60-584, with reflective strips for added visibility. The hubs are Formula Disc, measuring 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear, each with 32 holes and Centre Lock.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC model, mounted on an H8 aluminium seatpost measuring 31.6 mm in diameter and 350 mm in length. The bike is also fitted with SKS A 69 R mudguards in black.

An Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand, 40 mm wide, ensures the bike stands securely, whilst the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg. The drive is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, fuelled by a 500 Wh battery that offers sufficient capacity for long rides. Overall, the Amo Terra Vulkanschiefer offers a well-balanced package of performance, comfort and functionality.
