HoheAcht Amo Tereno Bernstein

The “Amo Tereno Bernstein” model from the “HoheAcht” brand, launched in 2021, is a versatile e-bike designed for both urban and rural use. Priced at EUR 4099, this bike offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort. The aluminium Wave frame ensures a robust yet lightweight construction that stands out for its stability.

For braking performance, the bike is fitted with Shimano SLX brakes: a 4-piston system (BR-M7120) at the front and a 2-piston system (BR-M7100) at the rear. This combination ensures reliable and powerful braking under a variety of conditions. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT Di2 11-speed system, which enables precise and efficient gear changes. The shift levers, Shimano Steps SW-E7000, Di14, contribute to intuitive operation.

The Acros headset with industrial-grade bearings contributes to the bike’s durability and smooth running.

The Mach1 Trucky 30 rims, with a diameter of 27.5 inches, are fitted with Continental Contact Cruiser tyres (60-584, Reflex), which ensure good traction and riding comfort. The hubs are from Formula Disc, with 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear, each fitted with a Centre Lock system.

The Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC saddle, combined with the Limotec Suspension Dropper seatpost – which offers 40+60 mm of travel – ensures a comfortable ride. The SKS A 69 R mudguards in black protect against splashes and dirt. An Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand and an Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack, which can carry up to 27 kg, round off the specification.

Power is provided by the high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, which, combined with a 630 Wh battery, ensures an impressive range. Overall, the “Amo Tereno Bernstein” offers a well-thought-out, high-quality specification package for discerning riders.
