HoheAcht AMO TERENO

The AMO TERENO model from HoheAcht, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. Priced at 4299 EUR, it offers a wide range of features suitable for both everyday use and more demanding rides. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 150 kg, whilst it weighs 27 kg.

The AMO TERENO is fitted with a powerful Shimano Steps DU-EP8 mid-drive motor, which enables speeds of up to 25 km/h and delivers an impressive torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh, providing sufficient power for extended rides. The accompanying Shimano Steps SC-E6100 display features Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity, enabling easy operation and monitoring of the systems.

The bike’s drivetrain consists of a Shimano SLX 12-speed derailleur, which, together with the Shimano SLX shift lever, ensures precise gear changes. The braking system consists of Hayes Dominion A4 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with a 203 mm front and an 180 mm rear brake disc to guarantee reliable braking performance.

The SR Suntour XCR32 Boost-AIR suspension fork offers 100 mm of travel, ensuring comfort and control on uneven terrain. The Schwalbe Al Grounder tyres, measuring 27.5'' x 2.35'', offer good grip and stability. The bike is also fitted with a robust aluminium frame, complemented by Mach1 Trucky 30 rims.

Road safety is ensured by the Herrmans lighting system, comprising an H-Black MR8 front light and an H-Cargo rear light, both of which are specifically designed for e-bikes. The Selle Royal Nuvola saddle and the suspension seatpost from Kalloy – HoheAcht contribute to a comfortable ride.

Additional features such as the AtranVelo luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 27 kg, the ABUS lock and the SKS mudguards make the AMO TERENO a practical everyday companion. The frame geometry, with a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, ensures a balanced riding position and a comfortable ride.
