HoheAcht AMO STRATO

The AMO STRATO from HoheAcht, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust build and modern technology. Priced at 4299 EUR, it offers a combination of performance and reliability, making it ideal for everyday use and longer trips. The aluminium frame ensures a stable and lightweight construction, whilst the maximum permissible weight of 140 kg guarantees a high load-bearing capacity.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (front: BR-MT200, rear: BR-MT200), which provide reliable stopping power. The brake levers (Shimano, BL-MT200) are made of steel and, with their 3-finger grip width, offer good control. The front and rear brake discs (Shimano, VR SM-RT30 and HR RT-EM300) each have a diameter of 180 mm and are fitted with a Centre Lock system.

Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Steps Nexus SG-C7000, a 5-speed hub gear system with a freewheel, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 gear lever. Power is transmitted via a Gates belt, which is durable and low-maintenance. The crankset consists of a Gates 39T CDX chainring paired with a Shimano Steps FC-EM600 crank arm set, 170 mm in length.

The bike features a rigid aluminium fork from HoheAcht and is fitted with high-quality lighting components: The front light (Lezyne E-Bike Hecto StVZO E65) provides ample light at 210 lumens, whilst the rear light (Herrmans H-Cargo) with an integrated parking light ensures safety.

The wheels consist of Mach1 Trucky 30 rims in 27.5-inch size, fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto tyres (27.5'' x 2.4''), which ensure stability and comfort on various surfaces. The hubs feature industrial-grade bearings, with the front hub from Formula (CL-811) and the rear hub from Shimano (Nexus SG-C7000).

Comfort is ensured by the Selle Royal Nuvola saddle, mounted on a Kalloy – HoheAcht seatpost. The handlebars and stem are also from Kalloy – HoheAcht and provide an ergonomic riding position. The specification is complemented by aluminium mudguards, a sturdy Ursus kickstand, an ABUS lock and an AtranVelo luggage rack.

Power is provided by a Shimano Steps DU-EP600 mid-drive motor with a torque of 85 Nm, which assists speeds of up to 25 km/h. The integrated battery (Shimano Steps BT-EN806) has a capacity of 630 Wh, which, in combination with the Shimano Steps SC-EN600 display, ensures user-friendly operation. The charger (Shimano Steps EC-E8004) ensures efficient recharging of the battery.
