HoheAcht Amo Monto Vulkanschiefer

The “Amo Monto Vulkanschiefer” model from the “HoheAcht” brand, launched in 2021, is a well-designed and well-equipped e-bike, available at a price of 3,699 EUR. It features a sturdy aluminium Wave frame, which promises both lightness and robustness. Braking performance is provided by Shimano SLX BR-M7120 4-piston brakes at the front and Shimano SLX BR-M7100 2-piston brakes at the rear, ensuring reliable deceleration and safety.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Deore XT 12-speed drivetrain, complemented by the Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 shift levers, which enable precise and rapid gear changes. The lighting set, which is battery-powered for both the front and rear lights, ensures visibility and safety on the road.

The bike is fitted with Marwi SP-160 pedals, whilst the crankset consists of the Shimano Steps FC-EM600 (170 mm) and the Shimano Steps EP8 (38 teeth). The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M6100, which also offers 12 speeds and, with a range of 10–51 teeth, covers a wide range of terrain types. Power is transmitted via a KMC x12 Silver chain.

The handlebars are made from H8 aluminium, measure 31.8 mm in diameter and 700 mm in width, which ensures comfortable and stable handling. The Ergon GE10 Evo grips offer additional comfort on longer rides. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium, measures 90 mm and is adjustable by 60°, allowing for personalised adjustments.

The bike is fitted with Mach1 Trucky 30 rims in size 27.5” and runs on Smart Sam K-Guard tyres in size 65-584 with reflective strips, which ensure good grip. The hubs are from Formula Disc with Centre Lock mounting, ensuring a secure wheel fit.

The Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC saddle offers comfort on long journeys, whilst the Kindshock LEV-SI seatpost, with a suspension dropper function and 125 mm of adjustment range, provides additional customisation options. The SKS A 69 R mudguards in black protect against dirt and water, whilst the Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand ensures the bike stands securely.

At the heart of the bike is the Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, which, together with a 500 Wh battery, provides powerful assistance on every ride. This model is therefore ideal for riders looking for a reliable and versatile e-bike.
