HoheAcht AMO MONTO

The AMO MONTO by HoheAcht, launched in 2023, is a modern e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components and priced at 4499 EUR. The frame is made of robust aluminium and the maximum load capacity is 140 kg, ensuring a stable and reliable ride.

Braking performance is provided by SRAM hydraulic disc brakes, with four-piston calipers at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also from SRAM, ensuring consistent operation. The brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and are fitted to the IS 6-hole standard. The gear system consists of the SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed derailleur, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The gear lever is a trigger-style model from the same series.

The suspension fork is an SR Suntour XCR32 Boost-AIR with 100 mm of travel, ensuring comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Sate-lite lighting set, which offers a maximum light output of 50 LUX at the front and 220° visibility at the rear.

The AMO MONTO uses a Shimano Steps drive system with a DU-EP801 mid-drive motor, which delivers power up to 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh, making it suitable for longer rides. The Shimano Steps SC-EN600 display offers Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity.

The crankset consists of a Shimano Steps SM-CRE80 chainring with 36 teeth and an FC-EM600 crank arm set with a length of 170 mm. The chain is a YBN S12e S2, which ensures reliability. The Kalloy – HoheAcht handlebars are 660 mm wide and have a 25° bend, whilst the stem is also made of aluminium.

The wheels are Sunringlé Düroc SD37 Expert 27.5” fitted with Schwalbe Johnny Watts tyres in size 27.5” x 2.35”, which feature reflective strips for improved visibility. The saddle is a Selle Royal New Lookin Ath Plus model, mounted on a Limotec A1 Dropper Post seatpost with 75 mm of adjustment.

Additional features include a Shimano chain guard, an Ursus R81 Wave kickstand and an ABUS BLO SHI IT2 XPlus lock for security. The charger is a Shimano Steps EC-E8004, which charges the battery efficiently. Overall, the AMO MONTO offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and safety for discerning riders.
