HoheAcht AMO EKO VILAGO RT

The AMO EKO VILAGO RT from HoheAcht, launched in 2022, is an e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components and available at a price of 3,499 EUR. With a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg and a kerb weight of 28 kg, it offers a robust and reliable frame. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, model BR-MT200 fitted to both the front and rear, ensure safe and effective braking performance. The BL-MT200 brake lever is made of steel and features a 3-finger operation. The brake discs are also from Shimano, measuring 180 mm in diameter and featuring a Centre Lock mounting system.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Steps 8-speed hub gear system with a coaster brake, controlled by the Nexus SL-C6000 gear lever. The SR Suntour XCM32 suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride. The bike’s lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED front light and the H-Cargo rear light, which also features a parking light.

The pedals are made of aluminium with PP from Marwi, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano Steps chainring with 38 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC chain. The handlebars and stem are by Kalloy – HoheAcht; both are made of aluminium and finished in black, offering comfortable ergonomics with a 25° bend and a 25 mm rise.

The rims are Mach1 Trucky 30 aluminium rims, combined with Continental CONTACT Cruiser tyres in size 27.5'' x 2.4''. The front hub is by Formula and the rear hub by Shimano Nexus, both fitted with industrial-grade bearings. The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola model, mounted on a Kalloy – HoheAcht suspension seatpost.

Additional features include SKS mudguards, a Hebie chain guard, an AtranVelo kickstand and an ABUS lock. The AtranVelo luggage rack can carry up to 27 kg. The bike is powered by a Shimano Steps DU-E6110 mid-drive motor with 60 Nm, supported by an integrated battery with a capacity of 504 Wh. The display is a Shimano Steps SC-E6100 with Bluetooth functionality.

The bike’s geometry features a seat tube length of 480 mm, a top tube length of 620 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. The wheelbase is 728 mm, and the bottom bracket height is 280 mm. Overall, the AMO EKO VILAGO RT offers a balanced combination of comfort, performance and functionality for the discerning e-bike rider.
