HoheAcht AMO EKO TERRA

The AMO EKO TERRA from HoheAcht, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 3,699 EUR. With a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg and a kerb weight of 27 kg, it is robustly and sturdily built. Fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, models VR BR-MT200 and HR BR-MT200, the bike offers reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Shimano, model BL-MT200, and are made of steel with a 3-finger design. The front and rear brake discs each measure 180 mm and are fitted with Centre Lock.

The drivetrain consists of a 12-speed Shimano Deore derailleur, model RD-M6100, controlled by the SL-M6100 shifter. The SR Suntour XCM32 suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. To ensure good visibility in road traffic, the bike is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED front light and a Herrmans H-Cargo LED rear light.

The AMO EKO TERRA features a crankset comprising a Shimano Steps SM-CRE80 chainring with 36 teeth and an FC-E6100 crank arm set with a length of 175 mm. The cassette is a SRAM Eagle CS-PG-1210 with 12 speeds and a range of 11–50 teeth. Power is transmitted via a SRAM SX Eagle 12 S chain.

The handlebars, a Kalloy – HoheAcht model, have a diameter of 31.8 mm, a width of 640 mm and a bend of 25°. The grips are Herrmans, Line model, with a length of 124 mm. The stem is also from Kalloy – HoheAcht, adjustable between 0–60°, with a length of 90 mm.

The rims are Mach1 Trucky 30, made of aluminium and measuring 27.5''. The tyres are Continental eCONTACT Plus, measuring 27.5'' x 2.5''. The hubs are Formula industrial-bearing models: CL-811 at the front and CL-148S Boost at the rear.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola 5060 DRC model, fitted to a Kalloy – HoheAcht seatpost. Mudguards from SKS and an AtranVelo luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 27 kg complete the specification. An ABUS lock ensures security.

The e-bike is powered by the Shimano Steps DU-E6100 mid-drive motor, offering assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 60 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged using a Shimano Steps EC-E6002 charger. The display is the Shimano Steps SC-E6100, equipped with Bluetooth and ANT Private.

The frame geometry, with a reach of 430 mm and a stack of 661 mm, offers a comfortable riding position. The seat tube length is 480 mm, whilst the top tube measures 620 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 175 mm, a chainstay length of 480 mm, a wheelbase of 728 mm and a bottom bracket height of 280 mm.
