Hercules Viverty R7

The 2021 Hercules Viverty R7 is a versatile touring bike characterised by its robust construction and functional features. The frame is made from AL 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a good balance between stability and weight. With a total weight of 19 kg and a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, it is suitable for a wide range of uses.

The bike is fitted with a rigid steel fork offering 63 mm of suspension travel. The braking system consists of Tektro 855AL-EN V-brakes, complemented by Tektro CL-530TS brake levers, which are fitted with Kraton inserts for added comfort. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Revoshifter, which offers seven gears and, in combination with the Shimano 19T sprocket and the KMC Z1 drivetrain, guarantees reliable performance.

Lighting is provided at the front by a Comus DHL-511 LED light with a luminous intensity of up to 15 lux, whilst a Comus ML-009 LED rear light with a parking light function is fitted at the rear. The Schwalbe Big Ben tyres in size 50-622 with K-Guard offer good road holding and puncture protection. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano DH-C3000-3 hub dynamo and the rear hub with a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub including a coaster brake.

The handlebars are Kalloy AL-080 with a 40° backsweep and a 55 mm rise, which, together with the Ergo 2D grips, ensures a comfortable riding position. The adjustable A-head stem allows for individual adjustments to the riding position. The Velo VL-8088 saddle is fitted with compression and tension springs to further enhance comfort, and is supported by a Kalloy SP-359 seatpost.

Further features such as the painted steel mudguards and chain guard, the Standwell SW-MA027J centre stand and the i-Rack aluminium luggage rack with spring-loaded flap round off the package.
