Hercules Versa R3

The "Versa R3" model from Hercules, launched in 2021, is a versatile folding bike that stands out for its robust construction and well-thought-out features. The aluminium folding frame, made from AL 6061 PG, ensures stability and lightness, resulting in a total weight of just 15 kg. Despite its compact design, the bike is rated for a maximum load of up to 135 kg, making it a reliable everyday companion.

The Versa R3 is fitted with a rigid steel fork offering 63 mm of travel. The Tektro V-brakes, fitted to both the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance, whilst the Tektro brake levers are specifically designed for V-brakes. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Revoshifter with three gears, which, in combination with a Shimano 19T sprocket and a Prowheel Solid-242AA crankset with 42 teeth, ensure a comfortable gear ratio.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a battery-powered Busch & Müller Ixon Pure B front light and a Toplight Flat Permanent rear light, which ensure safety when cycling at night. The Impac Big Pack tyres with TwinSkin technology offer good grip and comfort on a variety of surfaces. The rims are of the Airline-1 type and are held together by black steel spokes.

The Kalloy HB-RB11 handlebars, with a 6° backsweep and a 30 mm rise, offer an ergonomic grip position, supported by the Ergo 2D grips. The adjustable A-head stem allows for individual adjustment of the handlebar height. The Selle Royal Ariel unisex saddle, combined with the Kalloy seatpost, ensures a comfortable riding experience.

Additional features such as the i-Rack aluminium luggage rack, a sturdy two-leg kickstand from Standwell, plastic mudguards with V-struts and a plastic chain guard round off the practical design of the Versa R3.
