Hercules Versa F7 Belt

The 2021 “Versa F7 Belt” from Hercules is a folding bike that impresses with its well-thought-out design and features. Priced at 1,099 euros, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from an AL 6061 PG aluminium folding frame, which gives the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. The bike’s total weight is 15 kg, whilst the maximum load capacity is 135 kg.

The model is fitted with a rigid steel fork offering 63 mm of suspension travel. The braking system consists of Tektro V-brakes, which, together with the Tektro 374AP brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. Power is delivered by a Gates CDN system featuring a Gates FC-S150 CDN aluminium crankset and a Gates CDN 24T sprocket, ensuring low-maintenance and long-lasting performance. The Shimano Revoshifter gear lever allows for easy operation of the 7 gears.

The bike’s lighting is provided by the battery-powered Busch & Müller Ixon Pure B front light and the Busch & Müller Toplight Flat Permanent rear light. Other features include Wellgo pedals, a Kalloy HB-RB11 handlebar with a 6° backsweep and 30 mm rise, and Ergo grips with integrated clamps. The adjustable A-head stem and semi-integrated headset offer additional customisation options for the rider.

The Airline-1 rims are fitted with Impac Big Pack tyres, which provide good grip and comfort thanks to their TwinSkin technology. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano T3000 quick-release mechanism, whilst the rear features a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub with a freehub. The stainless steel spokes are 2 mm thick.

The Selle Royal LookIn Relaxed saddle, together with the Kalloy seatpost, ensures a comfortable riding position. The SKS B55 plastic mudguards offer protection against dirt and water. A Gates chain guard, a Standwell two-leg kickstand and an i-Rack aluminium luggage rack complete the specification. With a reach of 421 mm and a stack of 352 mm, the Versa F7 Belt offers balanced geometry for a comfortable riding experience.
