Hercules Urbanico Compact 10

The "Urbanico Compact 10" model from Hercules, launched in 2024, is an e-bike that stands out for its compact design and well-thought-out features. The bike’s frame is from the eCompact R16 series, made from AL6061 aluminium, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. The bike’s total weight is 24 kg, and it is designed for a maximum rider weight of up to 135 kg. The e-bike is aimed at riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height.

Braking safety is ensured by Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, fitted at both the front and rear with 160 mm discs. The brake levers are also from Tektro and offer reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Cues RD-U6000 with 10 speeds, operated via the Shimano SL-U6000R shift lever.

The rigid aluminium fork and the trekking handlebars, with a width of 640 mm and a 15° backsweep, provide a comfortable riding position. The adjustable Zecure AllUp 2.0 stem allows for customisation to suit individual preferences. The tyres are Schwalbe Big Ben in size 55-507, fitted to Rodi Web19 rims.

Lighting is provided by a Hercules FS-50 front light with up to 50 lux and a Comus RZ-100 COB-LED rear light. The saddle, a Selle Royal Essenza, is mounted on a Satori Harmony LT2 seatpost, which offers 40 mm of travel.

The drive is powered by a Bafang H600 motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 30 Nm. The motor is powered by a Pytes D2 battery with a capacity of 360 Wh, which features an integrated charger. The Bafang DP E16X display provides all the essential information whilst riding.

Additional features include a Monkey Load luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap, Curana Apollo 65 aluminium mudguards and a Maasload CL-KA88 double-leg stand. An integrated Pytes battery lock provides additional security. The price of the Urbanico Compact 10 is 2399 EUR.
