Hercules Robert/a R7

The "Robert/a R7" model from Hercules, launched in 2023, is a versatile eCity bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and robust engineering. The frame is made from eCity Series aluminium (AL 6061) and provides a stable yet lightweight base for the bike. With a maximum load capacity of 135 kg and a kerb weight of 27 kg, it is robust enough for everyday use in the city.

The Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes, fitted to both the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also by Magura and offer precise control. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 7-speed gear system, operated via a Shimano Revoshifter, and also features a coaster brake. The SR Suntour CR85-E25 P fork, with 63 mm of adjustable travel, contributes to a comfortable riding experience.

Lighting is provided by the Comus F16 LED front light, delivering up to 20 lux, and the Comus R-232EB LED rear light, which ensure safety when cycling in the dark. The Wellgo C-157 pedals are non-slip and offer a secure grip. The FSA CK-220 crankset, 170 mm in length, and the KMC Z1EHX drivetrain complete the drivetrain.

The Kalloy Tour handlebars, with a 37° backsweep and a width of 660 mm, offer comfortable ergonomics, whilst the Ergo grips with integrated clamps provide additional comfort. The adjustable stem and semi-integrated headset allow for individual adjustment of the riding position. The Supero tyres with puncture protection ensure safety and durability on a variety of surfaces.

The bike is fitted with a Bosch PowerPack battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, which powers the Bosch Active GEN3 motor delivering 250 watts and 40 Nm. The Bosch Purion display offers intuitive operation and displays all key information at a glance. An AXA battery lock provides additional protection for the battery.

Other practical features include the Monkey Load luggage rack with a system carrier and spring-loaded flap, a Standwell rear stand, as well as plastic mudguards and a Horn Catena 18 chain guard. The DDK City saddle and the Kalloy SP-F102 seatpost, with a length of 350 mm and a diameter of Ø34.9 mm, contribute to riding comfort.
