Hercules Robert/a R7

The "Robert/a R7" model from Hercules, released in 2022, is a versatile trekking city bike available for 2,499 EUR. It features a robust AL 6061 aluminium frame and has a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg. The Magura HS-11 hydraulic rim brakes ensure reliable braking performance, supported by the brake levers of the same name. For a comfortable ride, the bike is fitted with an SR Suntour CR85-E25 P fork, which offers an adjustable travel of 63 mm.

The lighting system consists of the Comus F16 LED front light, delivering up to 20 lux, and a Comus R-232EB rear light mounted on the luggage rack. The Shimano Revoshifter gear levers enable precise gear changes, whilst the FSA CK-220 crankset, together with the KMC Z1EHX drivetrain, ensures efficient power transfer. The Kalloy Tour handlebars, with a 37° backsweep and a width of 660 mm, offer comfortable ergonomics, enhanced by the Ergo 2D grips.

The stem is adjustable and the semi-integrated headset provides additional stability. The DBM-2 rims are fitted with Supero 50-622 tyres, which feature Optima Safe puncture protection. The Formula OV-31 front hub with quick-release and the Shimano Nexus 7-speed rear hub with coaster brake offer flexibility and safety in city traffic.

The bike features a comfortable DDK City DDK-225A2 saddle, mounted on a rigid Kalloy SP-F102 seatpost. Practical features such as plastic mudguards with V-struts, a Horn Catena 18 chain guard, a Standwell kickstand and an AXA battery lock enhance its practicality for everyday use. The i-Rack system luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap provides ample space for luggage.

The bike is powered by an Active GEN3 motor with 250 watts and a torque of 40 Nm, which is powered by a Bosch carrier-type battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Purion display allows for easy control of the electric drive. A Bosch 2A charger is provided for recharging. With a reach of 384 mm and a stack of 657 mm, the bike is designed for comfort and efficiency.
