Hercules Robert/a Pro I-F8

The "Robert/a Pro I-F8" model from Hercules, launched in 2022, is a versatile and robust e-bike that is ideal for urban use and longer rides. Priced at 4099 EUR, it offers a comprehensive range of features designed for comfort and performance. The frame is made of aluminium (AL 6061), which gives the bike stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 28 kg.

The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, supported by Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers and a 180 mm front brake disc. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Revoshifter, whilst the SR Suntour NCX-D fork, with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures a comfortable ride. Lighting is provided by a HERCULES FH 100 LED front light with up to 100 lux and a Comus ICR-11 rear light integrated into the frame.

The drivetrain is based on a Gates CDX system with a Samox EC38 crankset and a Gates CDX 22T sprocket. The handlebars are Zecure AL, featuring a 35° backsweep and a width of 640 mm, complemented by Ergon GC-1 grips for added comfort. The adjustable Zecure UP2+ stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The wheelsets consist of Rodi WEB 19 rims and are fitted with Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres, which are renowned for their puncture resistance and performance. The hubs are by Shimano, with a 15 mm thru-axle at the front and a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub at the rear. The Selle Bassano Suprema City saddle and the suspension Limotec seatpost, with a 100 mm stroke and 40 mm travel, contribute to riding comfort.

Additional features such as Curana Apollo 60 mudguards, a Horn Catena 18 chain guard, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an ABUS Pro Shield 5850 lock underline the model’s functionality. The i-Rack R8 system rack with spring-loaded flap offers practical transport options.

The third-generation Bosch Active Plus motor, with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 50 Nm, combined with the Bosch Powertube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures powerful assistance. The Bosch Intuvia display allows for easy control of the electrical components, whilst the Bosch 2A charger is responsible for recharging the battery. With a reach of 419 mm and a stack of 675 mm, the bike is well balanced and offers a comfortable riding position.
