Hercules Robert/a I-R8

The "Robert/a I-R8" model from Hercules, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-city bike characterised by high-quality components and a well-thought-out design. The frame is made from robust AL 6061 aluminium from the eCity Series, giving the bike a total weight of 27 kg. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, making it a sturdy choice for everyday use.

The bike’s braking system consists of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, with 180 mm discs at the front and 160 mm at the rear. It also features an integrated coaster brake, which, together with the Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear and the Shimano Revoshifter, ensures a comfortable and safe ride. The SR Suntour NEX-E25 fork, with 63 mm of travel, offers comfort on uneven roads.

Visibility on the road is ensured by the Hercules FS-50 LED front light, delivering up to 50 lux, and the Comus R-232EB LED rear light. The spec is rounded off by non-slip Wellgo C-157 pedals, an FSA CK-220 crankset and a Shimano 18T sprocket. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1EHX chain.

The ergonomic handlebars with integrated clamping and an adjustable A-Head stem ensure a comfortable riding position. The Supero tyres with puncture protection offer safety and durability.

The bike is fitted with an ABUS IT2.1 battery lock with an Xplus cylinder to secure the Bosch PowerTube battery, which has a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Active Plus GEN3 motor delivers 250 watts of power and 50 Nm of torque, controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display. A Bosch 2 A charger completes the electrical equipment.
