Hercules Robert/a F7 Active Plus

The 2022 Hercules Robert/a F7 Active Plus is a versatile e-bike that is ideal for urban use and leisurely trekking rides. Priced at 2799 EUR, it offers a solid range of features and reliable technology. The frame is made of aluminium (AL 6061), which gives the bike a robust structure and allows for a maximum load of up to 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Magura HS-11 hydraulic rim brakes, which, in combination with the brake levers of the same name, ensure precise and safe deceleration. Gear changes are operated via a Shimano Revoshifter, allowing for simple and intuitive gear selection. The SR Suntour CR85-E25 P fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain and can be individually adjusted.

The lighting comprises a Comus F16 LED front light with up to 20 lux and a Comus R-232EB rear light mounted on the luggage rack, ensuring good visibility in traffic. The Wellgo C-157 pedals are non-slip and offer a secure grip. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1EHX chain, whilst the crankset is an FSA CK-220.

The handlebars are a Kalloy Tour model with a width of 660 mm and a backsweep of 37°, which promotes a comfortable riding position. The grips are ergonomically designed (Ergo 2D) and the stem is adjustable (Kalloy AL-822) to allow for individual adjustment of the riding position. The semi-integrated headset contributes to stability.

The bike is fitted with DBM-2 rims and Supero 50-622 tyres, which feature Optima Safe puncture protection. The front hub is a Formula OV-31 with a quick-release mechanism, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus 7-speed with a freehub. The spokes are made of black steel and are reinforced on the rear wheel.

The DDK City DDK-225A2 saddle offers comfort on longer rides, supported by a rigid Kalloy SP-F102 seatpost. Plastic mudguards with V-struts protect against splashing water. The Horn Catena 18 chain guard and the Standwell SW-RA031J kickstand complete the specification. An AXA battery lock provides additional security.

The i-Rack system carrier with spring-loaded flap allows for the transport of luggage. The bike is powered by a Bosch Active Plus GEN3 motor with 250 watts and a torque of 50 Nm. The Bosch Carrier-type battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display. A Bosch 2A charger is also included.
