Hercules Rob Fold R5

The 2022 Hercules Rob Fold R5 is a versatile e-bike that stands out thanks to its well-thought-out design and high-quality features. The frame is made from Fold Urban AL 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. Weighing 22 kg and with a maximum load capacity of 135 kg, the bike is both stable and manoeuvrable.

The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, featuring Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers and a 180 mm Shimano SM-RT10 front brake disc, ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. Power is transmitted via the Gates CDX system with a 28T sprocket, which is renowned for its durability and quiet operation. This is complemented by a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gear with a coaster brake, which offers ease of use.

The Rob Fold R5 is fitted with a rigid aluminium fork and features Schwalbe Big Apple tyres, which ensure comfort and puncture resistance. The rims are DDM-1, whilst the hubs are from Shimano, with a quick-release and Centre Lock at the front. The handlebars are a Trekking AL model with a 37° backsweep and a 28 mm rise, which, together with the adjustable stem, enables a comfortable riding position.

Lighting is provided by the HERCULES FH 40 LED front light, delivering up to 40 lux, and the Busch & Müller 2C LED rear light mounted on the luggage rack. The Selle Royal LookIn Relaxed saddle and the Kalloy seatpost offer additional comfort on longer rides. Practical features such as the i-Rack system carrier with spring-loaded flap, an ABUS battery lock with Plus cylinder and a Massload two-leg stand round off the specification.

The Bosch Performance Cruise GEN3 motor delivers 250 watts of power with a torque of 65 Nm, supported by a Bosch battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display offers intuitive control of the electric assistance. The bike comes as standard with a Bosch 2A charger.
