Hercules Rob Fold F5

The "Rob Fold F5" model from Hercules, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike that stands out for its high-quality features and well-thought-out design. The frame is from the eFold Series, made from AL6061 aluminium, which not only gives the bike stability but also keeps its total weight down to just 25 kg. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, providing ample load-bearing capacity for both rider and luggage.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed gear system with a freewheel, operated via the Shimano SL-C7000-5 gear lever. Power is transmitted via the low-maintenance Gates CDX system with a 28T sprocket. Safety is ensured by Tektro (T-390) hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with a 180 mm front and a 160 mm rear brake disc.

The Hercules front light offers a brightness of up to 50 lux, whilst the Comus rear light, featuring COB LED technology, ensures good visibility. The handlebars are an aluminium touring model with a 37° backsweep, and the adjustable Satori UP2+ stem ensures a comfortable riding position. The ergonomic grips with integrated clamps also contribute to riding comfort.

The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Big Ben Performance tyres, which offer puncture protection thanks to their RaceGuard technology. The front and rear rims are Strongman DDM-1 models, and the hubs are from Shimano, with the front hub featuring a Centre Lock system with a quick-release (QR).

The “Selle Royal Look-In Relaxed” saddle, combined with the Limotec S1 seatpost – which offers 50 mm of travel – ensures a comfortable riding position. Protection against dirt and spray is provided by the Curana Apollo 65 mudguards.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line Smart System motor, which delivers 250 watts of power and 75 Nm of torque. The Bosch PowerPack battery has a capacity of 545 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 2A charger. Control is via the Bosch Intuvia 100 display.

For added comfort and functionality, the Rob Fold F5 features a Monkey Load luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap, a Massload CL-KA88 two-leg stand and an ABUS DR3 X-Plus lock.
