Hercules Prima 5E

The "Prima 5E" model from Hercules, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike suitable for a wide range of riders. Priced at 4,399 EUR, it offers a solid range of features and innovative technology. The frame is made from the Prima Series AL6061 aluminium alloy, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg, providing ample space for the rider and additional luggage.

The bike’s geometry is designed for riders between 155 cm and 200 cm tall, making it suitable for a wide range of users. The Tektro HD-T280 hydraulic disc brakes, with 180 mm brake discs at both the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The Shimano Nexus 5-speed derailleur with freewheel allows for easy and efficient gear selection, aided by the Shimano SL-C7000-5 shift lever.

The rigid aluminium fork and the ergonomically shaped Gabbiano handlebars with a 30° backsweep provide a comfortable riding position. The Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, size 100-406, ensure good grip and stability on a variety of surfaces. The combination of Shimano hubs, Sheng Lih rims and black Niro spokes ensures a durable and reliable wheel construction.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with the Sate Lite C12-STVZO-12V front light, which also features a daytime running light, and the Fuxon R-Glow S rear light with an integrated brake light. Comfort is further enhanced by the Velo VL-8088 saddle and the Kalloy seatpost. Practical features such as the AL mudguards in matt black, the Horn Catena 17 chain guard and the Standwell kickstand round off the overall package.

A highlight of the Prima 5E is the Bosch Performance Line Smart System motor, with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 75 Nm, which, together with the Bosch PowerPack battery with a capacity of 545 Wh, provides powerful assistance. The Bosch Purion 200 display offers simple operation and a clear overview of all key information. The 2A charger ensures efficient recharging of the battery.

Additional security features such as the ABUS DR3 X-Plus lock, complemented by an MK500 fork lock, offer protection against theft. The Monkey Load system rack allows you to carry luggage easily and securely. Overall, the Hercules Prima 5E is a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.
