Hercules Montfoort F7 Belt

The Hercules Montfoort F7 Belt, launched in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike that is ideal for urban use. Priced at 3199 EUR, it offers a solid combination of performance and comfort. The frame is made from the aluminium eCity Series, AL 6061, which not only gives the bike an attractive appearance but also contributes to its durability and stability. The maximum permissible weight is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg, offering a good balance between stability and manoeuvrability.

The Montfoort F7 Belt’s braking system is fitted with Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance. In addition, Shimano MT200 brakes are fitted at the front and rear, complemented by Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers. The Shimano SM-RT10 brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring effective deceleration.

Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Nexus 7-speed freehub hub, operated via a Shimano Revoshifter. This combination allows for precise and easy gear selection. The SR Suntour NEX-E25 fork offers an adjustable travel of 63 mm, which enhances riding comfort on uneven roads.

The bike’s lighting comprises a Hercules FS-50 LED front light with up to 50 lux and a Busch & Müller Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility. The Supero Optima safe tyres with puncture protection (44-622) offer additional protection against unwanted incidents.

Comfort is enhanced by the Selle Royal Freeway City saddle and the Kalloy SP-383 seatpost with 45 mm of travel. The handlebars are a Kalloy Tour model made of aluminium with a 37° backsweep and a width of 660 mm, which allows for a comfortable riding position. The stem is adjustable without tools, allowing for individual customisation.

The Montfoort F7 Belt is fitted with a Gates CDX sprocket and an FSA CK-220 crankset. Power is provided by an Active Plus GEN3 motor with 250 watts and a torque of 50 Nm. Power is supplied by a Bosch PowerPack battery with a capacity of 400 Wh, which is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display. The charger is a Bosch 2 A model.

Other features include SKS plastic mudguards, a Horn Catena 18 chain guard, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an AXA Solid Plus lock with ART2 certification. The luggage rack is a Monkey Load system rack with a spring-loaded flap, offering versatile transport options.
