Hercules Montfoort F7 Belt

The “Montfoort F7 Belt” model from Hercules, launched in 2022, is a versatile and robust e-bike that, at a price of 2,999 euros, is positioned in the mid-range price segment. The frame is made from Aluminium Tour NL, AL 6061, which gives the bike a solid yet lightweight construction. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 27 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the Magura HS-11 hydraulic rim brake, which is paired with the brake levers of the same name. The Shimano Revoshifter enables precise gear changes, whilst the SR Suntour NEX-E25 fork, with an adjustable travel of 63 mm, ensures comfort on uneven roads.

Lighting on the Montfoort F7 Belt is provided by the HERCULES FH 40 LED front light, with an output of up to 40 lux, and the Busch & Müller Toplight 2C rear light mounted on the luggage rack. The pedals are Wellgo model C-157 and offer a secure grip thanks to their non-slip coating. The drivetrain features the Gates CDX system with an FSA CK-220 crankset and a Gates CDX 22T sprocket.

The Kalloy Tour handlebars, with a width of 660 mm and a 37° backsweep, combine with the ergonomic grips and the tool-free adjustable Satori EZ3-Q stem to provide a comfortable riding position. The Ryde ZAC 19SL rims are fitted with Supero 44-622 tyres, which provide additional safety thanks to their Optima Safe puncture protection.

Power is provided by a third-generation Active Plus motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 50 Nm. The energy requirements are met by a Bosch luggage rack battery with a capacity of 400 Wh, which is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display. The Bosch 2A charger provides the necessary power supply.

Further features include the Selle Royal Freeway City saddle with a suspension-equipped Kalloy SP-383 seatpost, SKS plastic mudguards, a Horn Catena 18 chain guard, the Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an AXA Solid Plus lock with ‘ART2’ certification. The i-Rack system carrier with a tension strap rounds off the specification and offers practical transport options. Overall, the Montfoort F7 Belt is a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both city commuting and longer rides.
