Hercules Futura Max I-F360 ABS

The 2023 Hercules Futura Max I-F360 ABS is a high-quality e-trekking bike which, at a price of 5999 EUR, is positioned in the premium segment. The frame is made from the robust aluminium eTrekking R22 Series, AL 6061, and provides a solid foundation for long tours. With a maximum load capacity of 150 kg and a kerb weight of 28 kg, the bike is suitable for a wide range of uses.

The braking system comprises Magura CT eStop ABS hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm Magura MDR-C brake discs at both the front and rear. This ensures reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The continuously variable Enviolo TR gearbox, combined with the mechanical Enviolo Multiturn gear lever, allows for smooth adjustment of the gear ratio. The SR Suntour MOBIE 34 ABS fork, with 63 mm of travel and air suspension, offers additional comfort and control on uneven roads.

Lighting is provided by a Hercules FF-100 front light with a daytime running light sensor and high-beam function, which reaches up to 150 lux, and a Busch & Müller Toplight 2C LED rear light. The pedals are made of aluminium and are Marwi SP828 models, whilst the crankset is an FSA CK-220 with a length of 170 mm. The sprocket is a Gates CDX with 22 teeth.

The handlebars are aluminium Trekking Zecure bars with a 35° backsweep, and the grips are ergonomically designed with integrated clamping. The stem is an adjustable Zecure UP2+ A-head. The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres, which offer high puncture resistance thanks to their SmartGuard technology.

The saddle is a Selle Bassano Suprema 3Zone City, mounted on a BySchulz G2 seatpost with 30 mm of travel. SKS EDGE 66 plastic mudguards and a Horn Catena 17 chain guard offer additional protection against dirt and wet conditions. A Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand and an ABUS IT3 battery lock with an XPlus cylinder are also included.

The luggage rack is a Monkey Load system rack with a spring-loaded flap, ideal for carrying loads. The bike is powered by a fourth-generation Performance CX Smart System motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 85 Nm. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 750 Wh, ensures a long range, whilst the Bosch Kiox 300 display provides all the essential information.

The charger is a Bosch 4 A model. The bike’s geometry is well balanced for comfort and efficiency, with a reach of 428 mm, a stack of 644 mm, a seat tube length of 570 mm, and head tube and seat tube angles of 69 and 73 degrees respectively. The wheelbase is 1171 mm, which contributes to stable handling.
