Hercules Futura Max I-10

The 2023 Hercules Futura Max I-10 is a high-quality e-trekking bike which, at a price of 4599 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The frame is made from eTrekking R22 Series aluminium (AL 6061), which contributes to a robust yet relatively light total weight of 28 kg. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 135 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of riders and uses.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, with MT200 calipers fitted at both the front and rear, equipped with 180 mm brake discs. The brake levers, Shimano BL-MT201, offer reliable control and safety. The drivetrain features a Shimano Deore RD-M5120 10-speed rear derailleur, operated by the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shift lever, enabling precise and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour NEX-E25 fork, with 63 mm of travel and an adjustable lockout, ensures comfort and control on a variety of terrains. Lighting is provided by a Hercules FS-50 LED front light with up to 50 lux and a Busch & Müller Toplight 2C LED rear light, which increases visibility when cycling at night.

The drive is powered by a high-performance fourth-generation Bosch Performance CX Smart System motor, delivering 250 watts and 85 Nm of torque. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 750 Wh, offers an impressive range, whilst the Bosch Intuvia 100 display provides the rider with key information. A Bosch 4 A charger ensures efficient charging.

The Futura Max I-10 is fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres, which, thanks to their GreenGuard technology, ensure durability and puncture protection. Comfort is further enhanced by the Selle Bassano Suprema 3Zone City saddle and the Kalloy SP-F102 seatpost. The adjustable A-Head stem and the Trekking Zecure handlebars with Ergo grips allow for individual adjustment of the riding position.

Additional features include SKS EDGE 66 R mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand, an ABUS IT3 battery lock with an XPlus cylinder, and a Monkey Load System luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap.
