Hercules Futura Fold I-10

The "Futura Fold I-10" model from Hercules, launched in 2020, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and functionality. Priced at EUR 3,799, it offers a wide range of features that make it an attractive option for urban commuters and leisure cyclists. The frame is made from R10-series aluminium, specially developed for the Urban Fold category, and seamlessly integrates the Bosch Powertube battery. The e-bike’s total weight is 22 kg, whilst the maximum load capacity is 135 kg.

The braking system comprises Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers and a 160 mm front brake disc (Shimano SM-RT10), ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system is controlled by a Shimano ZEE with a Shimano Deore SL-M6000 gear lever, enabling precise and smooth gear changes. The rigid aluminium (AL 6061) fork complements the bike’s robust design.

Lighting is another key feature of the Futura Fold I-10. It features a HERCULES FH 40 LED front light with a brightness of up to 40 lux and an R121 rear light for the luggage rack, also LED, to ensure safety in low-light conditions. The wheels consist of Mach1 650 rims, fitted with Schwalbe Big Apple tyres (50-406) and RaceGuard puncture protection, which, together with the Shimano hubs (front: TX505, rear: RM35) and black Niro spokes, guarantee a stable and comfortable ride. The Selle Royal LookIn Relaxed saddle and the Kalloy SP-DC1 seatpost provide additional comfort.

Additional features such as Curana Apollo 60 aluminium mudguards, an FSA W1086 chain guard, a Massload CL-KA56 double-leg stand and an ABUS battery lock with Plus cylinder round off the specification. The i-Rack system luggage rack with spring-loaded flap offers practical transport options. The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Cruise GEN3 motor with 250 watts and a torque of 65 Nm, controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display. The Bosch Powertube battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 2A charger.
