Hercules Futura Compact R5

The "Futura Compact R5" model from Hercules, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out design and high-quality features. The bike’s aluminium frame, made from AL 6061, offers a comfortable, low step-through, which makes it easier to handle and particularly convenient to get on and off. With a maximum permissible weight of 135 kg and a kerb weight of 25 kg, the Futura Compact R5 is robust yet light enough for urban use.

The braking system consists of Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers and a 180 mm Shimano SM-RT10 front brake disc, ensure reliable braking performance. The Futura Compact R5 is fitted with a Bosch Performance Cruise GEN3 motor, which delivers 250 watts of power and 65 Nm of torque. The Bosch standard battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures sufficient range for everyday use. The Bosch Intuvia display offers intuitive control of the e-bike system. The charger has an output of 2A.

Additional features such as the ABUS battery lock with Plus cylinder, the i-Rack system luggage rack with spring-loaded flap, SKS mudguards and the Standwell kickstand round off the overall package.
