Hercules Futura Compact 10

The 2023 Hercules Futura Compact 10 is a modern e-bike equipped with a wide range of well-designed technical features. The frame is made from eCompact R10 series aluminium (AL 6061), giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure with a total weight of 25 kg. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, making the bike suitable for heavier loads too.

The Futura Compact 10’s braking system is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The front brake disc measures 180 mm, whilst the rear disc is 160 mm in diameter, ensuring reliable braking performance. The brake levers, also from Shimano, are the BL-MT201 models, which allow for precise control. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore RD-M5120 10-speed rear derailleur, operated via the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shifter.

The rigid aluminium fork and the Kalloy HB-TR-2 handlebars with a 25° backsweep contribute to the bike’s stability and control. Ergonomics are enhanced by the integrated grip clamps and the adjustable Zecure AllUp + Up2+ stem, which offers 150 mm of height adjustment. The Selle Royal LookIn Relaxed saddle offers comfort on longer rides, whilst the Limotec S1 seatpost with 50 mm of travel ensures additional comfort.

Road safety is ensured by the lighting system, comprising a Hercules FS-50 LED front light, which provides up to 50 lux, and a Busch & Müller Toplight 2C LED rear light. The Schwalbe Big Ben Performance tyres with RaceGuard technology offer excellent grip and safety on a variety of surfaces.

Power is provided by a third-generation Bosch Performance Cruise Smart System motor with 250 watts and a torque of 75 Nm. The Bosch PowerPack battery has a capacity of 545 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 2 A charger. The Bosch Intuvia 100 display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the e-bike system.

The Hercules Futura Compact 10 is also equipped with practical features such as a Monkey Load rack with a spring-loaded flap, an ABUS battery lock with an XPlus cylinder and SKS plastic mudguards.
