Hercules E-Imperial I-F5

The Hercules E-Imperial I-F5 from 2022 is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. Priced at 4199 EUR, it offers a combination of performance and comfort that is particularly well-suited to trekking enthusiasts. The frame is made from aluminium from the Trekking Sport Advanced series and features a Powertube design, which not only provides stability but also gives it a modern look. The maximum load capacity is 170 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 29 kg.

Safety and control are ensured by the Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes, which are paired with Shimano BL-MT402 brake levers. The front brake disc measures 180 mm and is a Shimano SM-RT54 model. The fork, an SR Suntour NEX-E25 HLO, offers 63 mm of travel and is both adjustable and equipped with a lockout, which enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by a HERCULES FH 100 front light with up to 100 lux and an Ivalo LED rear light integrated into the luggage rack. Power is delivered via a Gates CDX system with a Gates CDX 28T sprocket, whilst gear changes are operated via a Shimano Revoshifter. The crankset is a Samox EC38.

The e-bike is fitted with Zecure HD handlebars, which feature a 35° backsweep and a 20 mm rise, as well as Ergon GP1 grips for added comfort. The adjustable A-head stem and the integrated tapered headset offer further customisation options. The Ryde Andra 40 rims are fitted with Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres in size 47-622, which are puncture-proof thanks to SmartGuard technology.

The Selle Bassano SUPREMA saddle, mounted on a Zecure HD001 seatpost, provides additional comfort. Practical features such as SKS plastic mudguards, a Horn Catena 08 chain guard and a Pletscher Comp Flex 40 kickstand round off the specification. An ABUS Pro Shield 5850 lock with a key-operated battery lock ensures security.

The Racktime luggage rack features the SnapIt system and an integrated rear light. The e-bike is powered by a Performance Cruise GEN3 motor with 250 watts and a torque of 65 Nm. The Bosch Powertube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, provides long-lasting assistance, whilst the Bosch Intuvia display ensures easy operation. A Bosch 2A charger is also included. With a reach of 424 mm and a stack of 691 mm, the E-Imperial I-F5 offers balanced geometry for a comfortable ride.
