Haibike Nduro 8 Freeride

The 2023 Haibike Nduro 8 Freeride model is a high-quality e-bike which, at a price of 7,999 EUR, is positioned in the upper segment of the e-mountain bike market. The frame is made of robust aluminium and is fitted with an M12 (1.00) x 148 mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The suspension travel is 180 mm, which is ideal for challenging freeride trails. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg.

For the braking system, Haibike has opted for the Magura MT7, which features a 220mm front and a 203mm rear brake disc. The brake levers are made of aluminium and are Magura MT7 HC levers, ensuring precise and reliable braking performance.

Gear changes are handled by the SRAM GX Eagle system, a 12-speed drivetrain renowned for its reliability and shifting precision. The shifter is an SRAM GX Eagle trigger shifter, which allows for quick and easy gear selection. The fork is an Öhlins DH38 M.1 with air suspension and 180mm of travel, which, in combination with the Öhlins TTX 22 M coil shock, ensures excellent damping and control.

The pedals are made of aluminium and feature reflectors, whilst the crankset is a SRAM X-Sync 2 with 38 teeth. The cassette is a SRAM GX 1275 Eagle with a 10–50-tooth range, offering a wide variety of gear ratios. The handlebars are Raceface Atlas aluminium with a width of 820mm, and the grips are Raceface Half Nelson, which ensure a secure grip.

The stem is a Raceface Chester 35 Direct Mount with a 35mm bar bore, and the headset is an A-Head Alloy 1 1/8". The tyres are Schwalbe Magic Mary Evo TLE (62-622) at the front and Schwalbe Big Betty Evo Gravity (65-584) at the rear, fitted to a Mavic E-Deemax S wheelset. This combination ensures excellent traction and stability on a wide variety of terrain.

The saddle is a fi’zi:k Terra Aidon X5-160, mounted on an aluminium Dropper-Post Remote seatpost with a diameter of 34.9mm. Power is provided by a Yamaha PW-X3 motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 85Nm, which offers maximum assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. The battery is an InTube model with a capacity of 720 Wh, and the display is a Yamaha Interface - X. The fast charger has a current of 4A, enabling the battery to be charged quickly.
