Green’s Blackness

The “Blackness” model from the “Green’s” brand, released in 2024, is a versatile bicycle that impresses with its high-quality components and robust construction. The frame is made of aluminium, which contributes to a total weight of 17 kg and allows for a maximum load capacity of up to 130 kg. The bike is fitted with Shimano MT200 brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance. The 18-speed Shimano Cues derailleur offers a wide range of gear ratios, making it suitable for both city riding and off-road excursions.

The SR Suntour suspension fork with lock-out function ensures comfort on uneven roads and can be locked in place when required to minimise energy loss. Safety during night-time rides is ensured by the AXA Compactline front light with 35 lux and a parking light function, as well as the AXA Blueline Steady rear light, which also features a parking light. Both lights are powered by a hub dynamo, so no batteries are required.

The bike is fitted with VP VPE-623 aluminium pedals and a Zoom HL MTB-AL-320 handlebar, which measures 620 mm. The Herrmans DD37 grips offer additional comfort on longer rides. The Kalloy AL-820 A-Head stem ensures a stable connection between the fork and handlebars. The aluminium hollow-section rims are eyeletted and, in combination with the Schwalbe Citizen tyres in size 42-622 with reflective strips, offer good durability and visibility in road traffic.

The Selle Royal Ariel saddle and the Promax SP.2016 seatpost, with a diameter of 27.2 mm, offer comfort and stability. The SKS Chromoplastik mudguards protect against splashes, whilst the Ursus Wave kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. The Racktime luggage rack makes it easy to attach bags or baskets. Priced at 949 EUR, the “Blackness” model offers excellent value for money for cyclists who value quality and functionality.
