GIANT TCR Advanced SL

The "TCR Advanced SL" model from GIANT from 2022 is a state-of-the-art racing bike that is characterised by its first-class components and sophisticated design. The price for this premium bike is EUR 11,699. The frame is made of Advanced SL Carbon and offers a maximum tyre clearance of 32 mm, which enables versatile use. The fork is also made of Advanced SL full carbon and has an OD2 steerer tube with an axle width of 12x100 mm.

The brake system of the TCR Advanced SL is equipped with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 HRD, including 160 mm brake discs at the front and 140 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano Dura Ace Di2 HRD. The drivetrain is a 12-speed Shimano Dura Ace Di2, while the shifters for the 2x drivetrain are also from Shimano Dura Ace Di2. The front derailleur is also part of the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 system.

When it comes to drivetrain components, GIANT relies on the highest quality: the bottom bracket is a Shimano Pressfit, the crankset consists of Shimano Dura Ace with 52/36T chainrings and an integrated Shimano Power Meter. The sprocket is a Shimano Dura Ace with a gradation of 11-34T.

The handlebars and stem are made from GIANT Contact SLR Carbon, with the handlebars measuring 440 mm wide and the stem 120 mm long. The grips are GIANT Stratus Lite 2.0, the rims are CADEX 42 carbon and tubeless ready, as are the CADEX Race tyres in size 700x25c with a thread count of 170 TPI, which are supplied tubeless. The hubs and spokes are also from CADEX, whereby the spokes are made of CADEX Aero Carbon.

The saddle is a GIANT Fleet SLR, mounted on a GIANT Variant SLR carbon seatpost. The frame design is optimised for geometry: The reach is 412 mm, the stack is 596 mm. The seat tube length is 830 mm, while the top tube length is 600 mm. The head tube angle is 73 degrees, as is the seat tube angle. The head tube has a length of 200 mm, the chainstay length is 405 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 67 mm. The fork pre-bend measures 45 mm and the standover height is 816 mm. The crank length is set at 175 mm and the wheelbase totals 1020 mm.
