GIANT Revolt Advanced 0

The 2022 "Revolt Advanced 0" from GIANT is a versatile and high-performance gravel bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 4,199 EUR, it offers high-quality components and advanced technology. The frame is made from Advanced Carbon with a Flip Chip dropout and a maximum tyre clearance of 45 mm in short mode and 53 mm in long mode. This allows for flexible adaptation to different riding conditions.

The brakes are Shimano BR-RX810 HRD with 160 mm discs, which ensure reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Shimano, model GRX RX-810 HRD. The groupset is a Shimano GRX RX-810, 11-speed, combined with a 2-speed shifter of the same model. The front derailleur is also from Shimano’s GRX RX-810 series.

The fork is an Advanced full-carbon fork with an OD1 steerer tube and a 12x100 mm thru-axle. Pedals are not included. The bottom bracket is a Shimano PressFit, and the crankset is a Shimano GRX FC-RX810 with 48/31T chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra with an 11–34T range, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X11SL-1 chain.

The handlebars are GIANT Contact XR D-Fuse with GIANT Stratus Lite 3.0 grips. The stem, also from GIANT Contact, is 90 mm long, whilst the handlebar width is 460 mm. The rims are GIANT CXR 2 Disc Carbon, Tubeless Ready, with a height of 35 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Receptor, 700x40c, tubeless-ready with 120 TPI and are supplied tubeless.

The hubs and spokes are also part of the GIANT CXR 2 Disc system. The saddle is a GIANT Approach, mounted on a GIANT Contact D-Fuse seatpost, which, at 30.9 mm, is also compatible with Vario seatposts. The bike is also compatible with the GIANT Rack-It Metro (Lite) luggage rack.

The frame geometry offers a reach of 407 mm and a stack of 630 mm. The seat tube length is 530 mm, whilst the top tube length is 600 mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees. The head tube length is 195 mm, the chainstay length is 425 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 80 mm. The fork offset is 50 mm and the standover height is 807 mm. The crank length is 175 mm and the wheelbase measures 1056 mm in total.
