GIANT Reign E+ 1 [750 Wh]

The "Reign E+ 1 [750 Wh]" model from GIANT, released in 2022, is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike that stands out for its advanced technology and robust construction. The bike’s frame consists of an AluxX SL main frame with a Maestro rear triangle and a carbon swingarm. Front suspension is provided by a Fox 38 Float Performance Elite fork with GRIP2 VVC damping and 170 mm of travel, specially optimised for e-bikes. The rear shock is a Fox Float X2 Performance Elite EVOL, featuring a trunnion mount measuring 205x62.5 mm and custom tuning.

The bike is fitted with flat pedals and uses a Praxis e-Cadet+ crankset with a Praxis Wave 36T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano SLX CS-M7100 with a range of 10–51T. Power is transmitted via a KMC e.12 Turbo chain, which is specially optimised for e-bikes.

The bike is powered by a SyncDrive Pro2 motor with 85 Nm of torque, developed in collaboration with Yamaha. The battery has a capacity of 750 Wh and is an EnergyPak Smart XL, compatible with EnergyPak Plus extensions. The display is SG Display-compatible and can be used with RideDash Plus, RideControl GO+ and RideControl Ergo 3. The charger is an EnergyPak Smart Charger with an output of 6A.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 383 mm, a stack of 528 mm, a seat tube length of 445 mm and a top tube length of 535 mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. The head tube is 130 mm long, the chainstay length is 405 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm. The fork offset is 45 mm and the standover height is 725 mm. The crank length is 170 mm and the wheelbase measures 977 mm in total.
