GIANT Reign

The "Reign" model from GIANT, released in 2022, offers a wide range of technical features that make it an attractive mountain bike for discerning riders. The frame consists of an AluxX SL frame with a Maestro rear triangle and a carbon rocker arm, offering 146 mm of travel. The maximum tyre clearance is 2.5 inches and the maximum chainring size is 36T.

The braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT520 (4-piston) brakes with 203 mm discs and Shimano BL-MT501 brake levers, ensuring reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain is a Shimano SLX M7100 Shadow+ 12-speed system, operated by Shimano SLX M7100 shifters.

The front suspension features a RockShox Yari RC fork, which offers 170 mm of travel and utilises a Boost 15x110 mm axle standard. The rear shock is a RockShox Deluxe Select+ RT measuring 205x60 mm with a trunnion mount, which has been specially tuned.

The model is supplied without pedals. The bottom bracket is a Shimano PressFit and the crankset consists of a Shimano SLX M7100 with a 32T chainring and a 52 mm chainline. The cassette is a Shimano Deore M6100 with a 10–51T range.

The handlebars are GIANT Contact TR35 with a 20 mm rise and a width of 800 mm. The grips are GIANT Tactal Pro Single Lock-On and the stem is a GIANT Contact SL 35 with a length of 40 mm.

The rims are GIANT AM 29, tubeless-ready with an internal width of 30 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5WT, 60 TPI, 3C MaxxTerra, EXO, TR at the front and Maxxis Minion DHR II 29x2.4WT, 60 TPI, EXO, TR at the rear. The bike is supplied tubeless.

The hubs are RD02F / ED260-R and the spokes are by Sapim. The saddle is a GIANT Romero and the seatpost is a GIANT Contact Switch Vario seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm and a variable length depending on frame size (S: 125 mm, M: 150 mm, L–XL: 170 mm).

The frame geometry comprises a reach of 423 mm, a stack of 622 mm, a seat tube length of 431 mm and a top tube length of 574 mm. The head tube angle is 65 degrees and the seat tube angle is 76 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 100 mm, a chainstay length of 439 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 27 mm, a fork offset of 44 mm, a top tube height of 757 mm, a crank length of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 1191 mm.
