GIANT Propel Advanced 1

The Propel Advanced 1 from GIANT from 2022 is a high-quality road bike that is characterised by its advanced equipment and precise workmanship. The frame is made of Advanced Carbon and offers a maximum tyre clearance of 30 mm, which ensures high stability and comfort on various road surfaces. The fork is also made of Advanced Carbon and has an OD2 aluminium steerer tube with a 12x100 mm axle mount.

The bike is equipped with a SRAM Rival eTap AXS HRD brake system, which uses a 160 mm brake disc at the front and a 140 mm brake disc at the rear. This guarantees reliable and powerful braking performance in all conditions. Shifting is handled by the electronic SRAM Rival eTap AXS system, which includes a 12-speed cassette and a 2x shift lever. The front derailleur and the crankset, consisting of SRAM Rival D1 with 48/35T chainrings, round off the drivetrain system. The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB Pressfit, which ensures efficient power transmission.

The handlebar of the Propel Advanced 1 is the GIANT Contact SL Aero, combined with GIANT Stratus Lite 2.0 grips and a GIANT Contact SL Aero stem with a length of 120 mm. The handlebar width is 440 mm, which enables an ergonomic and aerodynamic riding position. The rims are the GIANT SLR 2 Disc Carbon models, which are tubeless ready and have a rim height of 42/65 mm. The tyres are GIANT Gavia AC Lite in the size 700x25c with tubeless ready equipment and a TPI of 60.

The hubs and spokes are also from the GIANT SLR 2 Disc series, which ensures smooth running and reliability. The saddle is the GIANT Fleet SL, mounted on a GIANT Vector Carbon seatpost, which offers additional comfort. The geometry of the bike includes a reach of 412 mm, a stack of 595 mm, a seat tube length of 595 mm and a top tube length of 605 mm. The head tube angle is 73 degrees, the seat tube angle is 72 degrees, the head tube length is 200 mm and the chainstay length is 405 mm. The bottom bracket has been lowered by 65 mm, the fork pre-bend is 45 mm and the standover height is 843 mm. The crank length is 175 mm and the wheelbase totals 1021 mm.

The Propel Advanced 1 is offered at a price of 4699 EUR and therefore offers excellent value for money for ambitious road cyclists who value quality and performance. Pedals are not included in the scope of delivery so that individual preferences can be taken into account.
