Ghost E-Teru Y Universal Low EQ

The “E-Teru Y Universal Low EQ” model from Ghost, launched in 2022, offers a balanced combination of stability, performance and comfort. Priced at 3,599 EUR, this e-bike is aimed at discerning users who value quality and reliability.

The e-bike’s frame is made from robust aluminium – specifically the E-Teru AL Low – which ensures a good balance between lightness and stability. The brakes are Tektro HDT275 160 mm discs, which, together with the Tektro HDT275 brake levers and the 160 mm front brake disc, ensure reliable braking performance.

The E-Teru Y Universal Low EQ is fitted with a Shimano Deore RD-M4120 10-speed rear derailleur, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shifter. This enables precise and rapid gear changes. The SR Suntour NEX HLO E25 DS fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides comfortable suspension and enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by the Herrmans HBlack MR4 E front light and the Axa Juno EBike rear light, which ensure good visibility even in poor lighting conditions. The VPE461 pedals offer a secure grip, whilst the Miranda 38T crankset and the Shimano Deore CSM4100 1142 sprocket ensure efficient power transfer. The drivetrain is supported by the KMC e10s chain.

The handlebar setup consists of a GHOST handlebar with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, as well as XLC Ergo grips and an XLC stem with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The Schürmann Yak Disc 25 rims are fitted with Continental Contact Cruiser 2.4 tyres, which are renowned for their good traction and durability.

The front hub is a Shimano HB-TX505 QR 100 mm and the rear a Shimano FH-TX505 QR 135 mm, complemented by Sapim Leader spokes. The Selle Royal Essenza saddle and the Satori Harmony SA 31.6 mm seatpost provide additional comfort, whilst the Kalloy XC68 34.9 mm seat clamp secures the saddle firmly in place.

SKS Mudguard mudguards are fitted to protect against dirt and water, and the Ursus Mooi 18 kickstand provides stable parking. The Ghost Carrier luggage rack allows you to carry luggage or shopping.

The E-Teru Y Universal Low EQ is powered by a Yamaha PWST motor, which, combined with the Simplo 630 Wh battery, offers an impressive range. The Yamaha Display A ensures simple and intuitive operation, whilst the Simplo Charger 4 Ah charger ensures fast charging times.
