Ghost Asket EQ

The Ghost “Asket EQ” model from 2023 boasts a wide range of technical features that make it a versatile and high-performance bike. With an aluminium frame known as the ALUMINIUM ASKET AL and a total weight of 12 kg, the Asket EQ offers a robust yet lightweight design.

The braking system consists of Shimano BRRS305 160 mm disc brakes and Shimano Sora STR3000 brake levers, which, in combination with the Shimano SMRT30 160 mm front brake disc, ensure reliable braking performance. Gear shifting is handled by the Shimano Sora RDR3000 9-speed system and the Shimano Sora FDR3030 front derailleur, providing a total of 18 gears.

The bike’s fork is made from high-quality GHOST carbon, which helps to reduce the overall weight whilst ensuring stability. For lighting, Lezyne Hecto Pro 65 lights are fitted at the front and rear, ensuring good visibility. The FPD NW91K pedals, along with the Feimin FPB908N bottom bracket and the FSA CKC201ST 4630T crankset, complete the drivetrain components. The cassette is a Shimano CSHG4009 1134, and the drivetrain is driven by a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are Gravel Bar RA120A, the width of which varies depending on frame size (from 420 mm to 500 mm). The grips are Fizik Tempo Bondcrush, and the stem has a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 60 mm. The headset is by Acros. The wheelsets consist of DT Swiss 2.0 spokes and WTB ST i25 rims, combined with Maxxis Ravager Exo TR 40622 tyres at the front and rear.

The hubs are by Shimano: an HBRS470 12x100 mm at the front and an FHMT400 12x142 mm at the rear. The saddle is a Selle Royal SRX, mounted on a GND 51 27.2 mm seatpost with a GHOST 31.8 mm seatpost clamp. The bike also features Curana Apollo 55 mudguards and a Racktime Light IT 2.0 luggage rack.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 427 mm, a stack of 641 mm, a seat tube length of 525 mm, a top tube length of 615 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74 degrees, a head tube length of 190 mm, a chainstay length of 440 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 67 mm, a standover height of 780 mm, a crank length of 175 mm and a wheelbase of 1126 mm.

The 2023 Ghost Asket EQ is available for €1,799 and offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and versatility, ideal for a variety of riding conditions.
