GASGAS G Trekking 3.0

The GASGAS G Trekking 3.0 from 2022 presents itself as a versatile e-bike that is suitable for both daily commuting and longer tours. With a price tag of EUR 4299, it offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and functionality. The bike's frame is made of a robust aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) and seamlessly integrates the battery, creating an elegant appearance. The brake system of the G Trekking 3.0 focusses on reliability and safety with Shimano components. At the front, a hydraulic disc brake with four pistons (Shimano BR-MT420) provides strong braking power, while a two-piston brake (Shimano BR-MT410) is installed at the rear. Both brake discs measure 180 mm and are equipped with the centre lock system. The shifting system consists of the Shimano Deore XT 12-speed drivetrain, which enables precise and fast gear changes. The gear lever is the Shimano Deore SL-M6100 with Rapidfire Plus technology.

The RockShox Recon Silver RL fork with 130 mm suspension travel ensures a comfortable ride and effectively absorbs bumps. This is complemented by the RockShox Monarch RT shock absorber, which provides additional damping. The lighting is equipped with the Litemove HKSE-70 front light and the AXA Juno E rear light, both with parking light function for increased visibility.

The equipment is complemented by GASGAS components such as the EC40 aluminium crankset and the ergonomic grips. The handlebars, also from GASGAS, have a width of 700 mm and offer a comfortable riding position with a sweep of 9° and a rise of 12 mm. The wheels are fitted with Schwalbe Johnny Watts tyres, which are known for their performance and reflective strips.

The drive is provided by the Yamaha PW-ST motor with 250 W and a torque of 70 Nm, while the Simplo Tube battery with a capacity of 630 Wh ensures a long-lasting ride. The Yamaha Display C provides all the necessary information on an LCD display and supports Bluetooth and micro USB connections.

With a geometry designed for comfort and efficiency, the G Trekking 3.0 offers a seat tube length of 480 mm and a head tube angle of 68 degrees. The wheelbase is 1187 mm, which contributes to the bike's stability. The riding position is further optimised by a dropper post seatpost.
