GASGAS G Light Trail 3.0

The 2022 GASGAS G Light Trail 3.0 is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike designed for challenging trail adventures. Priced at €7,499, this model offers an impressive combination of performance and technology. The bike’s frame is made from lightweight carbon and is designed for 29-inch wheels. It features an integrated battery and offers 150 mm of suspension travel, ensuring excellent shock absorption on uneven terrain. The maximum rider weight is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 19 kg.

The G Light Trail 3.0’s braking system is fitted with high-quality components from Formula. At the front, the Formula Cura 4 is used with a 203 mm disc, whilst at the rear the Formula Cura features an 180 mm disc. Both brakes are hydraulic disc brakes, ensuring reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also adjustable and designed as 2-finger levers.

The Shimano XTR system is responsible for the gear shifting, featuring an RD-M9100 rear derailleur and an SL-M9100 shifter. This combination offers precise and fast gear changes with a 12-speed system. The Shimano CS-M9101 cassette offers a range of 10–51 teeth, which, in combination with the KMC e12S drivetrain, allows for great flexibility in gear selection.

Suspension is provided by the RockShox Pike Ultimate fork with DebonAir technology and 150 mm of air travel. The RockShox Deluxe Ultimate shock absorber also ensures optimal adaptation to the terrain. The crankset is made from forged aluminium by GASGAS, ensuring stability and durability.

The bike is fitted with a Race Face Next Carbon handlebar, which is 780 mm wide and features an 8-degree sweep and a 20 mm rise. The stem is the Race Face Turbine 35 with a 0-degree angle. The tyres are Continental Mountain King in size 29x2.3, fitted to a Race Face Turbine SL 25 wheelset, which is tubeless-ready.

Power is provided by Yamaha’s AIR DRIVE motor, which delivers 250 W of power and 50 Nm of torque. The battery has a capacity of 410 Wh and is charged by a 4 A Yamaha fast charger. The Yamaha Interface X LED display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity.

Further details include a Selle Italia Superflow saddle with titanium rails and a GASGAS Pro Dropper Post seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The frame geometry features a reach of 462 mm, a stack of 642 mm and a wheelbase of 1265 mm, giving the bike balanced handling dynamics. The head tube angle is 66 degrees and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees, ensuring an optimal riding position for the rider.
