GASGAS G Enduro 2.0

The 2022 "G Enduro 2.0" from GASGAS is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed for demanding enduro riding. Priced at €5,299, it offers impressive features and solid engineering. The frame is made from robust 6061 alloy and features an integrated battery, equipped with a Boost system and 160 mm of suspension travel. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, which speaks to its sturdy construction.

The braking system consists of Tektro HD-M745 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers at both the front and rear. The brake levers are made of aluminium, are adjustable and designed for two-finger operation. Both brake discs measure 203 mm in diameter and are mounted using a 6-bolt system. The drivetrain is based on the Shimano Deore LG system with an RD-M5130 Shadow Plus rear derailleur and a 10-speed drivetrain, controlled via Shimano Deore Rapidfire Plus shifters.

Suspension is provided at the front by a RockShox Domain R fork with 170 mm of air travel and a tapered design, whilst a RockShox Deluxe Select shock measuring 230x65 mm is fitted at the rear. The drivetrain is assisted by the Yamaha PW-X3 motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. The Simplo battery has a capacity of 720 Wh and is charged using a Simplo fast charger with a charging current of 4 A. The Yamaha Display A provides all key information via an LCD display with a micro-USB port.

The bike is equipped with high-quality components, including GASGAS aluminium pedals and a forged GASGAS EC40 crankset. The sprocket is a Shimano CS-LG400 with a 11-43T range, whilst the drivetrain uses a Shimano CN-LG500 chain. The handlebars are GASGAS risers with a width of 780 mm, a 9-degree sweep and a 20 mm rise, complemented by GASGAS MTB screw-on grips. The stem is an R Raymon 35 with a 0-degree angle.

The wheels consist of Mach1 TRUCKY 30 rims, which are eyeleted and tubeless-ready, and Continental Trail King tyres in size 29x2.4 ensure optimum grip. The hubs are GASGAS DA210F at the front and GASGAS DA210R at the rear, both fitted with thru-axles. The saddle is a GASGAS MTB model, mounted on a GASGAS dropper post with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The bike’s geometry is designed for performance, with a reach of 460 mm, a stack of 625 mm and a head tube angle of 64 degrees. The seat tube length is 440 mm with a seat tube angle of 72 degrees. The chainstay length is 460 mm, the bottom bracket is lowered by 20 mm and the wheelbase measures 1258 mm in total. These dimensions give the G Enduro 2.0 a stable ride and optimum control on demanding trails.
