Fuji TRANSONIC 2.3 D

The 2021 "TRANSONIC 2.3 D" model from Fuji is a high-quality road bike that is characterised by its aerodynamic design and modern features. The frame is made of C10 high-modulus carbon and has an integrated, tapered head tube and a PF30 bottom bracket shell. The 142x12mm rear thru-axle provides additional stiffness and stability. The fork is also made of C10 carbon and has a tapered carbon steerer tube with a 100x12mm thru axle, which increases steering precision and riding stability.

Hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano 105 with 160/140mm brake discs are responsible for braking performance and, in combination with the Shimano 105 brake levers, provide reliable deceleration. The shifting system is also from the Shimano 105 series and includes shift levers with Dual Control for 2x11 gears, a front derailleur and a 50/34T crankset. The Praxis PF30 conversion bottom bracket efficiently connects the crankset to the drivetrain, which is completed by a KMC X11EL chain.

The handlebar is an Oval Concepts 790 Aero made of aluminium with a 31.8 mm clamp, a 125 mm drop and a 75 mm reach. It is equipped with anti-slip silicone grips. The stem, also from Oval Concepts, is aerodynamically designed and features an integrated computer mount. The headset is from FSA and integrated, with an upper diameter of 1 1/4" and a lower diameter of 1 1/2".

The tyres are Vittoria Zaffiro Pro V, G2.0, in size 28-622 with a folding construction and a density of 26 TPI, mounted on an Oval Concepts 524 Disc wheelset. These rims are tubeless-compatible and have 24 holes at the front and 28 at the rear. The saddle is the Oval Concepts X38 model with a pressure-relieving zone and chromo rails, while the seatpost is an aerodynamic Oval Concepts Transonic Aero, which is available in two lengths: 300mm for frame sizes 49-52cm and 350mm for sizes 54-61cm.
