Fuji FEATHER Red

The 2021 "FEATHER Red" model from Fuji is a bicycle that stands out for its classic aesthetics and high-quality workmanship. The frame is made from Reynolds 520 chromoly steel, which gives the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. The fork is also made from chromoly and features a flat crown and a 1-inch threaded headset from Tange, which ensures stable and precise steering.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro R315 brakes combined with Promax aluminium brake levers, which offer reliable deceleration. The bike’s drivetrain consists of a KMC S1 chain and a 46-tooth track-style crankset, ensuring efficient power transfer.

The “FEATHER Red” is fitted with an alloy track-style drop bar handlebar, wrapped in Velo perforated tape to ensure comfort and grip. The stem features an aluminium quill design with an -18-degree rise, enabling a sporty riding position. The bottom bracket features sealed cartridge bearings, ensuring smooth and low-maintenance performance.

The wheelsets consist of Alex double-walled rims with 32 spokes and high-flange, sealed aluminium hubs, complemented by stainless steel spokes. The tyres are Vittoria Zaffiro in size 25-622, which are known for offering a good balance between speed and puncture resistance.

The saddle is a Velo Retro model with five rivets, mounted on an aerodynamic aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The pedals are made of aluminium and provide a stable platform for the rider. The “FEATHER Red” offers an attractive blend of classic design and modern functionality at a price of 619 EUR.
