Fuji AURIC 27,5 LT 1.5

The "AURIC 27.5 LT 1.5" model from Fuji, released in 2021, is a versatile mountain bike that is particularly well-suited to enduro riding. Priced at €2,799, it offers a solid spec and high-quality components designed for demanding off-road riding.

The bike’s frame is made from Fuji A6-SL super-butted aluminium alloy and is fitted with Enduro Max sealed cartridge bearings. The patented MLink suspension system provides effective damping, whilst the Boost 148x12 mm axle and 160 mm travel ensure stability and control on uneven terrain.

Braking performance is provided by TRP Trail S brakes with 203/180 mm discs, which, together with the TRP Trail S brake levers, ensure reliable stopping power. Gear changes are handled by Shimano Deore Shadow+ technology, featuring a 1 x 11-speed shifter for precise gear changes.

The RockShox Yari RC 27.5 DebonAir fork, featuring a tapered aluminium steerer tube, Boost 110x15 mm and 170 mm of travel, offers additional damping and control. The RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Select rear shock also contributes to the bike’s excellent suspension performance. The bottom bracket is a threaded Shimano unit, whilst the crankset, featuring a 30-tooth chainring, is also from the Deore range.

Power is transmitted via a KMC X11 chain, and the handlebars are aluminium Race Face Ride Riser Bars with a 20 mm rise and a width of 760 mm. The grips are WTB Waffle Lock-on models for a secure grip. The stem is an aluminium Race Face Ride with a +6-degree rise, whilst the headset is from FSA and features sealed cartridge bearings.

The bike’s tyres are Maxxis Assegai at the front (27.5” x 2.50” WT) and Maxxis Minion DHR II at the rear (27.5” x 2.40”), both tubeless-ready and fitted with EXO protection. The wheelset consists of WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 rims with Formula DC-711 front and DC-3248 rear hubs, as well as DT Swiss Industry stainless steel spokes, which are also tubeless-compatible.

The spec is rounded off by the WTB Volt Medium Steel SL saddle and a Tranz X JD-YSP18P seatpost with 150 mm of adjustment and a PLQ lever. These components make the Fuji AURIC 27.5 LT 1.5 a robust choice for riders looking for a reliable and high-performance bike for challenging trails.
